When I was a kid, my cousin Sean used to say “man, that’s so jive” to about anything he thought was unfair or stupid. The term jive used to annoy me to no end. But a new video marketing software company just redeemed the term.
jiveSYSTEMS, a SaaS video email marketing platform is a relatively new application currently in beta. They claim to be the ultimate marketing tool right at your fingertips. But why? Well, I think they are actually on to something with this.
I attended a Webinar that what I assume are the two partners in the company ran. They impressed me with their casual nature. Both look young, the funny one was British and the American wore a propeller hat. Since they were doing a video webinar, they clearly didn’t care about their appearance (wearing t-shirts) and surprisingly it gave me great comfort with them. Their presentation was fun, fast paced and engaging. The two had great chemistry and flowed well. Frankly, it’s rare to see such a great show in the world of webinars (of which your humble narrator has attended zillions of), video or just presentation based.
To the point, Video marketing, video marketing, video marketing. Video marketing can often be quickly dismissed as complex to produce and difficult to effectively promote. Lets not forget that the perception that video marketing is expensive, which we’re trying to dispel at Right Here Interactive.

In five minutes, the two presenters showed us how to create a video introduction using camera equipment already equipped on your computer or laptop or using an inexpensive external camera. They captured the video introduction, chose who to send a video too and created action items (links that go on the video player itself to help you convert) and blamo, the video goes out to the recipient or group of recipients. You can even attach other information to the videos including files and other videos.
The system is inexpensive, coming in at $39/month during the beta period and going up once beta closes out. Good job to these guys creating an inexpensive and easy to use system for video marketing.
The only drawback for me is that all of their follow-up emails went into my SPAM box. I think they use a separate tool for auto-responses, so try not to hold it against them.
