What a great article I read this AM published byt the IDC showing that the market for Software as a Service will only grow in 2009. I’ve been personally involved in the SaaS space since 2002 (back when it was called the Application Service Model or ASP, not to be confused with Microsoft’s coding language).
Marketing and sales platforms have been moving this way for a long time. As marketers, we take full advantage of SaaS platforms to help us accomplish more with less. There are an unbelievable amount of CRM, Marketing, Collaboration and other tools out there.
This has really inspired me to start to write topics revieiwng specific platforms based on price to ebenfit, ease of use and effectiveness potential. I’ll put together some ideas and start the process. In the mean time, you can post your ideas and feedback if you have any!
