I just read a press release from Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs. He’s headed out to take a 6 month leave of absence.
This should send shock waves through the investment community. I suspect that Apple’s stock will be hit by the news. Some people say that Apple won’t continue to be such a consumer product leader without his vision. Time will tell. The real question is, will he come back in June?
I really want to say best of luck to Steve. I wish him well. He’s a product and marketing genius and one of the all time great business people in human history. Right up there with my personal favorite, Richard Branson of Virgin fame. He’s been an inspiration to marketers and product developers for decades and deserves great fan fare and adoration.
Good luck for a speedy recovery and we hope to see you in June Mr. Jobs….
